This is an example of the many usages I am finding to use up the large collection of pre-fused glass that I have accumulated over many years.
Using a pot-melt dish, I randomly load it with various broken up pieces of previous failed projects and left overs. I usually load up three pot melts in one firing. Using the resulting blanks- I position these at various heights on drop-out moulds.
Quite often there is defects within the finished piece but even these are useful for potting plants ( as I do). In general though- it’s an ideal way of making use of the scrape pile.
